Sheridan’s Public Creativity Studio 2019

Sheridan’s Public Creativity Studio is a summer internship program that provides Sheridan students with an experiential learning experience and the opportunity to collaborate on projects that have a real impact on our campus spaces.

This year’s studio builds on the work from last summer’s Public Creativity Studio. Bachelor of Interaction Design faculty Ed Naus leads this year’s studio as the students explore wayfinding, the use of public space, and accessible design solutions at our Trafalgar campus.

Summer at Sheridan: A look into our Drawing for Animators program

Each summer, up to 260 aspiring high-school animators come to Sheridan to participate in our Drawing for Animators program. We stopped by the Animation 101 course to capture some of the magic that happens in the classroom.

Blown Away on Netflix

Blown Away, a new television series airing internationally on Netflix this summer, aims to uncover the complexity of working with glass.

Faculty, staff, students, and alumni from Sheridan’s Honours Bachelor of Craft and Design (Glass) program contributed significantly to the show’s development and are featured heavily throughout nine of the ten episodes. With Netflix’s unique ability to reach over 139 million subscribers, Sheridan’s contribution to the technical and artistic aspects of this ancient and intricate artform will be at the forefront of your next binge-watching experience.
