As a graduate of Sheridan's Media Arts or Film and Television diploma program, you may be eligible to complete our Honours Bachelor of Film and Television degree program through Degree Completion.

Degree Completion allows you to apply your diploma credits toward a Sheridan degree. You’ll get significant credit for the courses you completed in your diploma, which means you can complete your degree and advance your career sooner.

The Honours Bachelor of Film and Television (BFTV) Degree Completion program is designed for eligible graduates from Sheridan's Media Arts or Film and Television diploma programs dating back to 1993 who are looking to further their education and develop the additional skills and knowledge gained through a degree.
The Degree Completion program is comprised of 10 BFTV courses (primarily theory – including 2 Program Electives), 8 Breadth Electives (university level), and a 14-week industry work placement (not required for students with documented, equivalent industry experience). You can choose to study part-time, or take a full-time course load.
Successful completion of Sheridan’s Media Arts or Film and Television diploma program with a minimum 3.0 program GPA, dating back to 1993.
